"Missing too many basic features"
I tried JIMBO for a small site. it felt too limited. Like, really basic stuff I expected to change just wasn’t there. Or it was buried in super simple settings. Templates looked fine at first. Clean enough. But once I wanted anything a little custom, I hit a wall.
The blog tools felt weak. SEO options too bare. And the shop features just didn’t feel ready for a real store. Maybe it works for a quick one-page site. That’s about it. For the price, I expected more. I ended up moving my site somewhere else.

"Payment Failed but i still Got charged"
My payment didn’t even go through, but somehow the money was still taken from my account. I’ve been waiting and still haven’t gotten a refund yet, which is really frustrating...
"Blogging tools are limited"
I’ve been using the blogging tools and they do work, but they feel basic and limited compared to what I expected. It gets the job done, but the experience hasn’t been great, so I’d really appreciate some kind of compensation or credit for the inconvenience

"I don’t know why the mobile version looked so off"
My JIMBO site looked fine on desktop, but I don’t know why everything seemed to shift around on my phone. Some buttons got super tiny, and the layout just looked messy. I tried adjusting a few things myself, but it still didn’t come out right.
"SEO was easier than I expected"
I used Jimdo for my small site, and the SEO side was simple to figure out. Adding titles, descriptions, and setting things up with Google didn’t take much hassle. It’s not like it gives you every advanced option in the world, but actually, for what I needed, that was kind of a good thing. After a while, I did start noticing more visits coming in

"Does anyone else have their Jimdo site go down randomly?"
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but my Jimdo site has had way too many uptime issues. Some days everything loads totally fine, and then out of nowhere it’s either down or painfully slow. The frustrating part is I usually don’t even notice until a customer points it out. I reached out to support, but the answers weren’t really clear or reassuring. For a business site, I just don’t feel like it’s reliable enough. Has anyone else had the same experience?

"Pretty good, but the customization feels too restricted"
The templates are decent and get the job done, but I did feel a little boxed in when trying to customize things. For something that’s supposed to help you be creative, it doesn’t feel quite right to limit users so much. Not a bad experience overall, but I wish there was more freedom to make things your own

"Setup was more of a hassle than I expected"
I was trying to get my site up and running, but the whole setup process was slow and clunky. The steps was taking longer than I thought, and I ended up spending more time waiting around than actually building anything...

"Canceling took way more effort than expected"
I was just trying to cancel my JIMBO plan, and it ended up taking way longer than it should have. I probably clicked through 5 or 6 different pages trying to figure out where to do it, and the wording wasn’t very clear. It really felt like they make it harder than necessary so people give up.
Support didn’t make things much better either. I waited around a day or so for replies, and when they did respond, the answers were vague. For something as basic as canceling a plan, this should’ve taken maybe 2 minutes, not a whole frustrating back-and-forth...
"Easy to use... but a bit limiting"
Jimdo is fine if you just need to get a simple site up quickly. I liked that I could set things up without much hassle... but once I started trying to customize it more, it felt limited. Some of the layouts weren’t easy to change, and I couldn’t really get the design to look exactly how I had in mind. It’s not bad at all... just probably not the best choice if you want a lot of control over how everything looks.

"The site feels slower than it should"
The site feels slow most of the time. Pages take longer to load than you’d expect, you kind of assume a site should be able to open basic pages without making you wait around

"Support was surprisingly quick"
I reached out to support expecting the usual waiting game, because apparently that’s just part of the experience these days. But they actually got back to me fast and had the issue sorted soon enough. Weirdly painless, which was a nice surprise.

"Good integrations, setup took a bit"
I was able to connect Mailchimp and PayPal without any trouble, which was great, but the Zapier setup, took me a bit to figure out. Once I got past that part, everything worked fine.

"Email setup was kind of a mess for me"
I tried getting the email set up, but it just never really worked right, like at all. It was confusing and I kept thinking maybe I did something wrong, but it still would not come together properly...
"I tried Jimdo for a small website..."
I tried Jimdo for a small website, and I’m convinced the templates were the biggest problem by a mile. They just looked old and stiff, like something that had not been refreshed in forever, and the second I tried adjusting things, the pages started feeling messy.
Maybe it’s fine if you need the most basic site imaginable, but I knew quickly it wasn’t for me. The fonts, spacing, and layouts all felt way too similar, and I felt boxed in almost immediately. Definitely not worth it in my case.

"Got my domain hooked up with no stress"
I connected my own domain to my Jimdo site and it was way easier than I thought it would be. I was kind of bracing for some annoying DNS mess, but the steps were clear and I didnt feel lost.
It did take a bit of time before everything updated, but thats normal with domains I guess. Once it went through, the site was working fine, so yeah I’m happy with how it turned out.

"Migration was mostly okay"
Moving my site went smoothly overall, really. The only part that took a little extra effort was exporting everything, but it wasn’t too bad in the end
"Help docs only got me so far"
I tried building with Jimdo and figured the help pages and tutorials would get me through it, but they didn’t help as much as I hoped. A lot of the info felt either super basic or like it hadn’t really kept up with what I was seeing on the site. It was fine for the really simple things, I guess, but once I ran into an actual problem, I just kept clicking around and reading the same kind of vague answers over and over. Maybe it works if you’re doing something really straightforward, but for me, the docs weren’t enough.

"Decent editor, just a little clunky"
It’s easy enough to use overall, but like I said, editing pages can feel kind of slow sometimes. Like I said, it gets the job done, but it’s not the smoothest experience

"Refund process was such a waste of energy"
I asked Jimdo for a refund after realizing the plan just wasn’t what I actually needed. I figured it would be a straightforward thing to sort out, but it ended up being way more frustrating than it should have been.
Getting clear answers took forever, and most of the replies felt like the same generic copy-paste messages over and over. I kept having to explain myself again, which just felt like wasted time and energy for something that should’ve been simple.
In the end, I still didn’t feel like the refund was handled properly. Maybe the site builder itself works fine for some people, but my experience with the refund process was really poor.
